ATMs/Shared Branch Locations
In addition to our locations and owned ATMS, we also participate in the Shared ATM/Branch Network, providing our members with over 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs and 5,600 shared locations nationwide. Use the locator below to find a Shared Branch or ATM:
Shared Branch
We Accept Shared Branch Transactions!
The national CO-OP Shared Branch network links participating credit unions electronically, allowing credit union members to do “branch banking” even when the branch near you doesn’t belong to your Credit Union. This is a huge benefit to FWCCU members who travel, whose workplaces don’t coincide with our locations, or who simply enjoy the convenience of expanded access. Wherever you are across the country, chances are good there’s a Shared Branch near you.
The Shared Branch network is yet another example of credit union membership offering the best of both worlds - individualized attention and nationwide availability. The cooperative spirit of credit unions allows them to work with each other in ways that competing banks typically do not. Use the location search function above, or download the FWCCU Mobile app to find branches nearest you. You can also look for the “CO-OP Shared Branch” logo on the door of any credit union branch.
At a CO-OP Shared Branch location you can perform the following transactions:
Deposits
Withdrawals (up to $750)
Basic Account Inquiries
Transfers
Loan Payments
Purchase of Traveler’s Checks, Money Orders, Cashier Checks*
Since services vary from location to location, check with individual branches before your visit for a complete menu of available services. Funds availability will also vary from one location to another.
At a CO-OP Shared Branch location you MUST have the following:
Your Credit Union's Name (Fort Worth City Credit Union)
Your Account Number
Valid photo ID with signature (Driver's License, passport, Military ID)
*Available services at a Shared Branch may differ from location to location, and from those of FWCCU. Funds availability policies may also differ. Contact the individual credit union for complete details. To release a hold on a check deposited at a Shared Branch, contact your Credit Union.
Protecting You from Fraud with IDCheck
With account takeover fraud on the rise, we’ve added new ID-proofing security when accessing your account in person at our Shared Branch locations. This new fraud prevention measure allows us to make certain it’s YOU trying to access your account, not an imposter.
If you bank at one of our Shared Branch locations, a teller can now identify and authenticate members with out-of-state IDs in the branch through a QR code and one-time passcode multi-factor authentication verification. This additional layer of authentication will be used for loan payments, cashier’s checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and account inquiries.
How it Works:
1. Scan the QR code located in the branch or visit verify.coop.org.
2. Select your credit union’s name from a drop-down list.
3. Enter your member number and the last four digits of your social security number.
4. Upload a photo of your ID.
5. Take a selfie.
Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time!
6. Show your one-time passcode to the teller (passcode is valid for 20 minutes).
