NCUA Insurance

As a member, you are trusting us with your money. We appreciate and respect that trust. That’s why our deposit insurance is provided by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). The NCUA carries the full faith and credit of the federal government. It's one of the strongest share guarantees in the nation. Through NCUA, your aggregate non-IRA savings deposits will be insured up to $250,000, and your aggregate IRA deposits will be insured up to $250,000. Your money is safe and secure.

The Electronic Share Insurance Calculator is available on the NCUA's website to help you estimate the amount of insurance protection provided by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund using the type(s) and structure of your credit union accounts.

For more information about NCUA insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.ncua.gov.

Additional Deposit Insurance Coverage for Our Members

We also carry additional coverage through Excess Share Insurance Corporation (ESI), which means all account relationships will be insured up to an additional $250,000. ESI is the highest level of share insurance coverage available without any direct cost to you.

Security

In addition to more than 90-years of success and growth within the financial industry, Fort Worth City Credit Union operates under laws and regulations that restrict investments to safe and insured items.  Annual exams by regulators and independent audits by a C.P.A. firm ensure compliance with these requirements.
