We’re celebrating everything that makes credit unions worth loving. “I Love My Credit Union Day is a nationwide movement to spotlight how credit unions like FWCCU go the extra mile for their members and communities. And we’re turning up the fun with a full day of festivities!

New Checking Accounts:

Open your first checking account on Friday (online or in-branch) and choose one:

• $100 deposit match, or

• $100 gas card, or

• $100 donation to Cook Children’s - plus an extra entry into our grand prize drawing

New Loans:

Apply for a qualifying loan of $5000 or more on Friday (online or in-branch) and fund within 7 days and choose one:

• $100 gas card, or

I Love My Credit Union Day

I Love My Credit Union Day is celebrated every July 31, a national day rooted in the principle that has guided credit unions since the beginning: people helping people. Not shareholders. Not profit margins. People.

At Fort Worth City Credit Union, that phrase isn't a tagline. It's the reason we exist. And this year, we're living it out through something local, something tangible, and something that lasts all month, not just one day.

Cook Children's Heart Center serves some of the most vulnerable families in Fort Worth. Parents spending sleepless nights beside a crib with a cardiac monitor instead of a baby mobile. This July, FWCCU is collecting the exact items those families need most, and matching every dollar given online through a campaign called Hearts for Hearts. The heart is right there in the name of I Love My Credit Union Day. We decided to take it literally.

Two Ways to Give

Shop their Amazon wish list — items ship directly to Cook Children's — or drop off at any FWCCU branch through July 31.

Matching Hearts

Give online at the Cook Children’s Foundation and FWCCU matches every dollar donated, dollar-for-dollar, through July 31.

Terms & Conditions

Due to high demand, there may be longer than usual wait times. Please prepare for and allow extra time so we may still provide each member with the high quality of service you expect and deserve.

Promotion valid Friday, July 31, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CT unless otherwise stated. Offers available to eligible Fort Worth City Credit Union members in good standing. Members with charged-off accounts, delinquent loans, or other outstanding obligations to the credit union are not eligible. Employees, volunteers, directors, committee members, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate or win promotional prizes.

New Checking Account Offer

Offer valid for first-time Fort Worth City Credit Union checking accounts only. Existing checking account holders are not eligible to receive an incentive by opening an additional checking account.

A minimum opening deposit of $25 is required. The checking account must remain open and in good standing for at least 90 days. If the account is closed within 90 days, any promotional incentive paid by FWCCU may be deducted from the account or otherwise recovered by the credit union, where permitted by law.

Eligible members may choose one of the following incentives:

• A matching deposit equal to the opening deposit, up to $100, credited to the new checking account;

• One $100 electronic gas gift card delivered via email within approximately 72 hours of account opening; or

• A $100 donation made by FWCCU to Cook Children's on the member's behalf. Members selecting this option will also receive one additional entry into the $1,000 Grand Prize Drawing.

Promotional incentives may be reported as taxable income. Members are responsible for any applicable tax liability.

Loan Offer

Members who submit an application for a qualifying loan of $5,000 or more between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. CT on July 31, 2026, and whose loan is approved and funded within seven (7) calendar days of application, are eligible to receive one promotional incentive.

Qualifying loans include consumer, auto, motorcycle, RV, mortgage, home equity, credit card, and refinance loans, subject to normal underwriting and approval requirements.

Eligible members may choose one of the following:

• One $100 electronic gas gift card delivered via email within approximately 72 hours after loan funding; or

• A $100 donation made by FWCCU to Cook Children's on the member's behalf. Members selecting this option will also receive one additional entry into the $1,000 Grand Prize Drawing.

This promotion may be combined with FWCCU's Summer Loan Promotion where applicable. Promotional incentives may be reported as taxable income.

$1,000 Grand Prize Drawing

One (1) winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize deposited into their FWCCU account.

Members may earn one entry for each qualifying activity completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. CT on July 31, 2026:

• Opening a qualifying new checking account

• Applying for a qualifying loan of $5,000 or more

• Recording a video testimonial

• Submitting a written testimonial

• Making a qualifying Cook Children's donation (minimum $25 cash donation or donation of eligible wish list items)

Members selecting the Cook Children's donation incentive in lieu of the $100 member incentive receive one additional drawing entry.

A maximum of one entry will be awarded per qualifying activity. Members may earn multiple entries by completing multiple qualifying activities.

To qualify for drawing entries related to checking accounts or loans, applications must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. CT on July 31, 2026.

Winner need not be present to win. The winner will be announced during a live Facebook drawing and notified by telephone and/or email.

Testimonials

Video testimonials require a signed media release before recording. Written and video testimonials each qualify as separate entries into the Grand Prize Drawing.

Cook Children's Donations

Cash donations of $25 or more and donations of eligible items from the published Cook Children's wish list qualify for one Grand Prize Drawing entry. Wish list items are available at fwccu.org/lmcu.

Kona Ice & Snowy Churro

One complimentary Kona Ice or Snowy Churro item per member while supplies last during posted event hours.

FWCCU reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this promotion at any time without prior notice if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control. All products and services are subject to eligibility, membership requirements, underwriting, and credit approval where applicable.
